With the new Four Seasons Embarcadero hotel recently opening a short drive from our home, we were itching for a little weekend of luxury. We wanted to experience the wonders of a weekend staycation.
San Francisco is home. The city is brimming with character, incredible food, A+ vibes, and a stunning skyline. We love this 7×7 piece of land and are proud to call it home.
Staycations are rapidly growing in popularity. It’s a safe and comfortable escape from day-to-day routine. It’s an opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge in a new environment that’s close to home.
Having just returned from FS Embarcadero, we can’t wait to recount the PERFECT little staycation we had soaking up the city views, indulging in delicious food, and relaxing with luxurious amenities!
Four Seasons Embarcadero Rooms
Four Seasons Embarcadero is a new luxury hotel in San Francisco offering breathtaking views of the city and the Bay. It is the tallest hotel in the city with the top 11 floors of a 48-story landmark skyscraper.
We stayed on the 46th floor in the Superior Bay View Room with a king bed.
???? Pro tip: We requested for a room facing the Bay. It’s truly breathtaking waking up to blue waters and the Bay Bridge standing proudly in the distance
Can you feel the plushness of this pillow? I thought my bed at home was comfortable, but the Four Seasons bed and pillows were next level.
The suite has the perfect nook to lounge, read a book, and take in the breathtaking views.
Four Seasons Embarcadero Hotel View
When you’re up 48 stories, you can bet the views are breathtaking! One of the main highlights of the property is the skybridge. With floor to ceiling windows on both sides, you really get the best views of the city and the Bay. We enjoyed identifying quintessential SF buildings like Coit Tower, Transamerica Pyramid, Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Salesforce Tower, and the Ferry Building.
???? Pro tip: The 48th floor’s skybridge features QR codes on every widow panel outlining the history of the landmark you see through that window.
In-room Dining: Dinner Menu
The main restaurant and bar is not open yet, but if the decor is any indication of what’s to come, then we are beyond excited to spend an evening dining there.
Instead, we ordered from their in-room menu for both dinner and breakfast. They’re serving modern Californian cuisine and everything we tried was delicious. The hot food was delivered in a hot box to ensure the food stayed at the perfect temperature.
???? Pro tip: At the cost of sounding basic, get their fries. It’s REALLY good.

In-room Dining: All-day Breakfast Menu
I don’t often eat in bed (I’m notorious for leaving crumbs EVERYWHERE). But today was an exception. I was extra careful, I promise. We called the front desk to order the food in bed, and ate in bed. Are we doing this whole staycation thing right?

Four Seasons Embarcadero Hotel Amenities
Restaurant and Bar: Although it’s not open yet, it’s looks incredibly inviting!
Gym: Can I just move in here? We were blown away by the sheer amount of state-of-the-art equipment at the gym. From a squat rack, to cardio machines, to free weights, and TRX setup, there’s no excuse to miss a workout. They also have personal trainers available on request to educate and inspire!
Sky Deck: The rooftop sky deck boasts incredible views of the Bay. Although this was not open during our visit, we can’t wait to experience it one day.
You can read more about their amenities here
Our stay at the Four Seasons Embarcadero hotel was everything we wanted from a staycation and more. Rest, luxury, good food, tasty cocktails, and the comfiest bed! We’re recharged and ready to take on the world!
