"At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. We provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation to a proper meal. Just like a bear builds its den for comfort and tranquility, Trestle has been created to serve as your home away from home. We'll provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation for a proper meal."
Corn Soup, Maitake Mushroom, Cornbread, Pickled Serrano
This soup was everything. And whats more, I almost considered replacing my dessert for a second order of this. It was bright and sweet from the corn, with a gentle heat in the backburner from the Serrano.
Shrimp Salad, Little Gems, Shaved Radish, Lemon Aoili
Firebrand bread, Housemade Butter
Crispy-Skin Striped Bass, Forbidden Rice, Roasted Summer Squash, Scallion Puree
Roasted New York Strip, King Trumpet Mushroom, Chimichurri, Whole Grain Mustard Jus
Lemon Posset, Chamomile Crumble, Poppy Seed, Blackberries
Honey Chocolate Tart, Vanilla Creme, Cherry Gelee, Cocoa Nibs, Green Almond
Croissants and Caviar's TL;DR:
At $35 for a 4-course tasting, with an option to add an additional pasta course for $10, this is the perfect casual date night dinner. The toasty Firebrand bread was definitely something to write home about, as was the perfectly salted butter (I know, I know, I realize how crazy I sound, talking about salt on butter and all). No but really though. Get their bread!
