If you’re on the fence about booking a trip to Santorini, DO IT because #1, yolo and #2, it’s absolutely magical. If you’re planning on where stay in Santorini, this post is for you! We had the opportunity to stay at FOUR Andronis properties across Santorini and they were incredible. Everything from the attention to detail, to a pillow menu (yes, you read that right), to the bespoke chocolates at turndown service, it was pure luxury.

Check out my post on the most instagrammable spots in Santorini for more inspo.

The Andronis hotel group is internationally acclaimed for their hospitality. The luxury hotel chain owns 7 properties across Santorini and Athens. After looking at their rooms, amenities, pools, and views, we knew we had to stay here for our Santorini trip. We spent our time across THREE Andronis properties in Oia and visited a FOURTH in Imerovigli. They were immaculate. The food, the vibe, and the incredible views were everything we dreamt about for our Santorini trip. It truly made our first visit to the Greek islands more magical than we ever imagined.

Each of the 4 Andronis Santorini properties have something unique to offer. Both Boutique Hotel and Luxury Suites are located at the heart of Oia and offer breath taking views of the caldera. Luxury Suites’s restaurant, Lycabettus, is consistently voted as one of the most romantic restaurants in the world! Andronis Arcadia sits at the peripheral of Oia, and offers a touch more privacy and west-facing suites for the best sunset views. Their restaurant/bar with live music is a whole vibe and where you should be when the sun sets (we came back 3 nights in the row!). Andronis Concept is located in Imerovigli and is a wellness retreat and perfect for larger groups.

Here’s what it’s like to stay at the Andronis Hotels!

⭐ As always I’m linking my entire Santorini trip on my Instagram highlights: Part 1, Part 2

1. Andronis Boutique Hotel

Andronis Boutique Hotel is located at the heart of Oia. It’s one of the properties that make up the cascading Oia cliffside. This means you get unobstructed views of the crescent-shaped caldera and the Aegean Sea. It doesn’t get more picture perfect.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs. The staff kindly attended to our baggage and escorted us through the many many steps down the cliff to our suite. If you’re looking at stay in a cave-style suite, these are as luxurious as they get: private plunge pools, heated tubs, and a bespoke scent that wafts as you enter your suite. UNREAL.

The Rooms

Every room has front-row views of the caldera and are completely private. We were treated to a bottle of local wine and bites upon arrival. This was such a nice touch. The suites have a living area and a bedroom.

Dining at Lauda

Andronis Boutique Hotel has breakfast included, and this was definitely a highlight. You can sample unlimited items from the breakfast buffet, from traditional greek pastries, parfaits, cheeses, to the the most tempting pastries. You can also order from the a la carte menu, which is also included free-of-cost.

Restaurant Lauda was one of the best meals we had in Santorini! The fine dining restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and pays homage to Santorini’s rich food history and tradition. They offer both a pre-fixe degustation tasting menu and à la carte. We did the tasting menu for both lunch and dinner and it was UNREAL. Cocktails were also a hit. We did the Discovery Menu at dinner, which comprised of 9 courses of pure luxury: lobster, caviar, local fishes, a cheese trolley with cheeses from different Greek islands, and a cloud-like soufflé. The lunch tasting menu was 4-5 courses and was also seafood driven.

2. Andronis Luxury Suites

Andronis Luxury Suites is known for its tranquility and elegance. It was the first of Andronis property at Santorini and consists of 33 luxury suites. The suites come with either a private infinity pool, cave pool or heated hot tub. It’s also located in the heart of Oia, down the street from Andronis Boutique Hotel.

The Rooms

The cave suites are incredibly luxurious and offer a lot of privacy. This property, like all the other Andronis properties, offers a pillow menu for guests to choose the perfect firmness of pillow! We were speechless! After we checked in, we headed straight to the main pool, ordered a cocktail from the pool bar, and spent the afternoon basking in the warm Mediterranean sun, feeling grateful we get to experience this.

Dining at Lycabettus

Breakfast is included as part of your stay and can be enjoyed at the comfort of your own suite or at the outdoor restaurant. The dishes was top notch! We ordered it to our patio on one of the days and requested for a floating breakfast on another day. Some highlights were greek salads, greek scramble, eggs benedicts, avocado toasts, greek pies, smoothies, and the freshest seasonal fruits. We made the brunch boozy with few glasses of champagne because vacation ????

Andronis Luxury Suites is also home to the most romantic restaurant in the WORLD, Lycabettus. The restaurant is voted as one of the best restaurants in Oia. It’s perched on an clifftop and has 360 views of the sea, the sunset, and Oia. This was the most romantic dinner we had in Santorini! They offer a degustation tasting menu and à la carte. We opted for the tasting menu because we wanted to try a little bit of everything. The meal took us through a journey of modern Greek cuisine. We started we an impressive amuse bouche course with many bites. Then came a dish with sunchoke foam, hazelnut ice cream, and truffles. Other highlights were the cod with beurre blanc, lobster, chicken with a wild mushrooms jus, and wagyu with little pomme souffles. DIVINE.

3. Andronis Arcadia

Andronis Arcadia is the newest properties of the Andronis family. It’s the perfect hotel for those looking for a peaceful getaway from the bustling streets of Oia but still just a few minutes walk to the town center. Arcadia is a place to truly unwind and relax. From the modern earthy architecture, to chill tropical house music at the restaurants, to the peaceful location, everything is intentionally designed to be a haven.

The Rooms

Every suite is west-facing and comes with its own pool facing the Aegean sea, making it perfect to watch the beautiful Santorini sunsets. Upon checking into our suite, we immediately popped the complementary bottle of champagne in our room and jumped into our private heated pool to watch the sky turn the most beautiful shades of red and orange.

Dining at Pacman

There are two restaurants on the property and they offer a wide selection of cuisines. Both restaurants have magnificent views of the sea, perfect for catching the sunset during an evening meal. Opson features a tasting menu inspired by classical Greece using fresh vegetables from their own kitchen garden and locally sourced delicacies. Pacman is located next to the infinity pool and sunsets, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast is included with your stay. The first thing you’re greeted with is a huge basket of pastries and local jams to whet your appetite. Then, a cart is wheeled over to you table bearing greek yogurts and countless nuts, dried fruits, and fresh honey to dress your parfait. You order the remainder of your breakfast from their à la carte menu.

Pacman at night is a WHOLE VIBE. Come here to see and be seen. The restaurant is boho chic meets modern Greek vibes. Organic house music from a live DJ hums in the background. The dinner menu is split into two: classical Mediterranean and Japanese. We sampled their ENTIRE menu and were BLOWN away. Their cocktails are also fire.

During the summer months, Pacman has live music and yoga performances.

Evexia spa is the perfect space to spoil yourself to some R&R. My favorite part of the spa was the signature Kneipp water therapy pools where one side is cold water and other is hot. Alternate walking through the hot and cold pools stimulate blood circulation throughout the body.

4. Andronis Concept

Andronis Concept Wellness Resort is a holistic resort based on health and wellness. Located in Imerovigli, it offers a luxurious blend of privacy, mindfulness, and indulgence. Housed in this resort are three shared pools, the largest spa in Santorini, a yoga studio facing the sea, and an amazing restaurant offering breathtaking views of the caldera. The restaurant, Throubi, features Santorinian gastronomy created using fresh ingredients from their garden.

Our stay at the Andronis properties made our Santorini trip more magical than we could have ever imagined. Staying with them was pure luxury. We got to soak in the Mediterranean sun while getting pampered to no end. We also gained a deeper appreciation for Greek cuisine and wines. Overall, you can’t go wrong with any of the Andronis properties. If you have time, I recommend staying between 2 of them so you can experience the different vibes.
